About the Nevis to St. Kitts Cross Channel Swim
This event is one of the Caribbean’s most iconic open water endurance events. It attracts the best marathon and open water swimmers. This year, former marathon swimmer and Team GB Olympic open water swimmer, Alice Dearing, will take part in the upcoming edition of the grueling swim.
The Nevis to St. Kitts Cross Channel Swim is a 4.1-kilometre (2.5 mile) challenge of the fittest. It tests swimmers’ endurance, discipline and spirit and their ability to stay focused. The route spans the Narrows which lie between Nevis and St. Kitts. This is a picturesque channel which offers unique views of the islands, their volcanic peaks and palm-fringed coastlines.
