The Caribbean Tourism Organization will convene a one-day Air Connectivity Summit in Bermuda on February 24, 2026. The event will bring together senior public and private sector leaders to tackle air access and route development challenges across the region. The event centers on “Integrating Aviation and Regional Tourism Development” and aligns with the CTO’s broader strategic Reimagine Plan.
The summit agenda emphasizes practical, collaborative solutions. Sessions will examine sustainable route growth, align aviation planning with tourism objectives, and evaluate infrastructure investments that support both international and intra‑regional travel.
Key participant groups include tourism ministers, directors of tourism, transport and finance officials, airport and airline executives, route planners, infrastructure developers, regulators, sustainability and innovation specialists, trade associations, research organizations, media, and local Bermuda stakeholders. This mix aims to bridge policy, commercial, and community perspectives.
The Program
Program elements will feature:
- A keynote review of current Caribbean aviation dynamics and future outlook.
- Presentation of a CTO air connectivity analysis conducted by ASM.
- Panel discussions on international and intra‑regional route development strategies.
- A ministerial dialogue on a coordinated Caribbean airlift approach.
- Sessions linking airport and aviation infrastructure investments to tourism growth.
The summit will run alongside the CTO’s Spring Business Meetings on February 23 at The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club. This will enable bilateral talks, strategic meetings, and broader stakeholder engagement ahead of the dedicated air connectivity forum. That spring session provides additional opportunities for member countries, allied members, and industry partners to coordinate on policy and operational priorities.
Interested organizations or representatives can request registration details from the CTO’s business development office. Participation aims to produce actionable recommendations for strengthening air connectivity and supporting resilient regional tourism.
