Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. (BTMI) UK & Ireland has welcomed Aer Lingus’ new nonstop Dublin service to Barbados. This service strengthens the linkages between the airline and the island and adds to Aer Lingus’ reach in the Caribbean.

The launch of Aer Lingus’ new Dublin–Barbados service is the latest connection between the countries. Barbados established a resident embassy in Dublin in 2024, which signaled a commitment to deeper bilateral engagement and building on historic connections that date back centuries. The move also reflects a shared ambition to expand cooperation across tourism, culture and education while making travel and business links closer than ever.

Élan Mottley-Harris, Director of BTMI UK & Ireland, said that they are “delighted to welcome Aer Lingus’ new direct service from Dublin to Barbados — a landmark development that reflects Barbados’ growing appeal as a distinctive, year-round destination for Irish travellers.”

The service will operate three days a week—Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from March 31 to May 31. Flights will depart Dublin at 13:50, arriving at Barbados’ Grantley Adams International Airport at 18:00, while the return service will depart Bridgetown at 19:30 and arrive back in Dublin at 08:40 the following morning.

Aer Lingus will be using its new fuel-efficient A321XLR aircraft on the route. It is a narrow body aircraft with 16 Business Class seats and 168 Economy seats. Bookings are open and promotional fares are competitive. Fares start at EUR229 each way and include taxes, fees and carrier charges.
