Although travel famous for its 365 beaches, Antigua and Barbuda is a rare two island gem with direct flights from the United States of America, Canada and the United Kingdom. The capital city, St. John’s, is a historic area that boasts diverse architecture which is evident in the Cathedral of St John the Divine; the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda which is located in the colonial Court House; and the Antigua & Barbuda Government House.

Day 1: The Catamaran Hotel
When you arrive at the The Catamaran Hotel, you will be immediately drawn to its Caribbean charm and enviable location on a small intimate beach. This gorgeous hotel, is the perfect location for an affordable destination wedding. There are tropical plants, flowers and trees throughout the property. Additionally, there are balcony views that provide a clear view of the beach and the harbour.
For wedding guests, the ideal room is the beachfront room. This accommodation package comes with two twin beds; a kitchenette; air conditioning; complimentary wi-fi; and an a la carte continental breakfast. Beachfront rooms can comfortably sleep up to four guests. The happy couple can opt to stay in the superior room. This room has a Queen-sized bed and a second floor view of the beach.
Guests who arrive in the evening can spend time lounging on the beach, before heading to dinner at the Captain’s Quarters Restaurant and Bar. The menu of appetizers, pastas, entrees and pizza features a tasty blend of Caribbean and international flavours.
Day 2: Let’s Get Married
After a few hours at the beach enjoying kayaking and swimming, guests will head back to their rooms. They will prepare for the small and simple, yet elegant and romantic beach wedding. Weddings on the beach are always beautiful because of the gorgeous blues of the ocean as a backdrop. Afterwards, guests will head to the Captain’s Quarters Restaurant and Bar for the wedding reception.
